Spume reaches bubbles

over tattered torn lost sundered

beaches timescapes heaving oozing

spilling into lives still

losing loving innocent and unsullied

walls no barrier nor gates

ruptured sliding through over in

ways unmarked unremarked

unnoticed while too late

to return reconsider reopen

waiting in that thunderous silence

for a call that will never come
